Cranleigh RFC – Fat Boys & Birds 2024

What a fantastic day we had at our annual Charity Rugby Day! The sun was shining brightly, and we had a great turnout that surpassed all expectations. It was a day filled with thrilling matches, delicious food and drink, and a wonderful community spirit.

Firstly, a huge thank you to everyone involved in making this event such a great success. Special thanks to Nic Churchill and the entire team of volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes. Your dedication and hard work truly paid off, and we couldn’t have done it without you.

Well done to all the players who gave their all in every match. You battled hard on the field and showed incredible sportsmanship. Moreover, your generosity in supporting our cause is deeply appreciated. Your contributions will make a significant impact, and for that, we are very grateful.

To the bar staff and Hendy, a massive thank you for keeping up with the high demand for drinks. As always, the beers were flowing at a rate of knots, adding to the festive atmosphere of the day.

A special shoutout to Bring and Braai for providing such a fantastic place to eat. The food was amazing and kept everyone energized throughout the day.

To everyone who turned out to cheer on the teams, thank you! Your enthusiasm and support were infectious and played a huge role in the day’s success. The sense of community was palpable, and it wouldn’t have been the same without your presence.
